Slovenia Photography Workshop Terms & Conditions

 

1.

Booking & Payment

To secure your place, a non-refundable deposit of €400 is required upon registration.

  • The remaining balance of €2,400 is due 60 days before the workshop start date.

  • If the full balance is not received by this deadline, your place may be forfeited.

  • Bookings made within 60 days of the workshop require full payment at time of booking.

  • Payment can be made via bank transfer).

2.

Cancellations & Refunds

By Participant:

90 days prior to the workshop: Refund minus €150 admin fee.

  • 60–90 days: Deposit retained; balance refundable.

  • <60 days: No refunds unless a replacement is found. A 10% admin fee applies.

By Organizer:

  • Full refund of all payments will be given if the workshop is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. force majeure, low enrolment).

  • We are not liable for participant travel or travel accommodation expenses.

3.

Travel & Flights

  • International travel is not included.

  • Participants are responsible for booking their own flights and ensuring arrival at the designated meeting point by the indicated time.

  • We strongly recommend booking flexible or refundable fares.

4.

Documentation

  • Participants must have a valid passport and meet any visa requirements for Slovenia.

  • We do not take responsibility for denied entry due to documentation issues.

  • You are responsible for checking entry requirements, vaccination status, and border conditions.

5.

Travel Insurance

  • Comprehensive travel and medical insurance is mandatory.

  • It should cover trip cancellation, emergency medical treatment, personal belongings, and gear.

  • We may ask for proof of insurance prior to the trip.

6.

Fitness & Medical Responsibility

  • A moderate level of physical fitness is required; workshops may include walking on rugged terrain.

  • You are responsible for confirming your physical capability to participate.

  • If you have health conditions or accessibility needs, inform us at time of booking.

7.

Code of Conduct

  • Participants must behave respectfully towards others, local communities, and the environment.

  • Disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior may result in immediate removal without refund.

  • We promote a supportive, collaborative environment among creatives.

8.

Workshop Changes & Flexibility

  • Itinerary may shift due to weather, light, or unforeseen conditions.

  • We reserve the right to adjust locations or times to ensure the best photographic results.

9.

Accommodation & Meals

  • Accommodation is included in the workshop fee ,private rooms as indicated.

  • Breakfasts is  included unless stated otherwise.

  • Participants are responsible for lunch/dinner 

10.

Transportation

  • Ground transport during the workshop is included.

  • Airport transfers available at arranged time by 17:00pm

11.

Equipment & Gear

Recommended:

  • DSLR or mirrorless camera (full-frame preferred)

  • Wide-angle and telephoto lenses (e.g., 16–35mm, 70–200mm)

  • Tripod, filters, remote release

  • Waterproof and warm clothing

  • Backup batteries, cards, laptop (optional)

12.

Liability

Our workshops include travel to remote, mountainous areas where services and infrastructure may not match typical European standards. You may encounter difficult terrain, limited access to medical care, and variable weather.

By joining this workshop, you acknowledge and accept all associated risks, including but not limited to:

  • Personal injury, illness, loss, or death

  • Property damage or theft

  • Disruptions caused by weather, war, terrorism, strikes, or technical failures

You agree to:

  • Voluntarily release Marek Biegalski and associated personnel from liability

  • Travel at your own risk and assume responsibility for your well-being and belongings

  • Bring appropriate gear, study pre-trip materials, and act in a respectful, hygienic, and safety-conscious manner

We reserve the right to:

  • Cancel your participation for disruptive or unsafe conduct

  • Modify itineraries without refund due to safety or force majeure

  • Make judgment calls in the interest of the group’s welfare and photographic success

13.

Media Usage

  • All images created by participants remain their own.

  • We may request the use of images for promotional purposes, with credit and written consent.

14.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for events outside our control (natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, etc.) that may affect workshop operations. In such cases, credits or partial refunds may be offered, but not guaranteed.

15.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed under the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Disputes shall be handled through Irish courts.
