An Unforgettable Photography Journey Through Iceland

Venture beyond the edge of the map and rise above one of Earth’s most surreal terrains. This is not a tour. It’s a personal journey  guided by award-winning photographer Marek Biegalski , through the haunting beauty of Iceland’s Highlands and South Coast. Seen through the eyes of a drone, the land becomes abstract and alive: glacier-fed rivers twist like brushstrokes across black sand, geothermal scars steam in silence, and mountains drift in and out of mist. This experience is for those who seek solitude, atmosphere, and the kind of imagery that only comes from being present, above, and alone.

This is a trip designed for photographers who see from above.

Our focus is on aerial and drone photography, capturing the incredible forms, flows, and contrasts that only become visible from the sky. The glacier fed braided rivers, lava fields, and geothermal scars of the Highlands come alive when seen from altitude  like Earth’s pulse drawn in light and mineral.

We’ll also have the option to capture the land from ground level, where silence, scale, and atmosphere open up entirely different creative possibilities.

Traveling by super jeep, and with just 4 photographers, you’ll have all the space and time you need to fly, frame, and immerse yourself in these wild spaces  without the rush or noise of crowded tours.

And you won’t be doing this alone.

Your guide is Marek Biegalski — an award-winning photographer and filmmaker who has spent the last seven years chasing Iceland’s glacier rivers from their highland origins to their sprawling delta endings. His aerial imagery has earned multiple international awards, and his deep familiarity with these landscapes allows you access to hidden spots few people ever reach.

This isn’t a tour. It’s not about ticking off highlights.It’s about going where the land still breathes, and capturing the moments where light, silence, and scale come together if only for a breath.I have scouted unique and amazing landscapes of the Highlands which will provide you with endless photography opportunities.

For those seeking a more personal and tailored experience, this journey can also be adapted into a one-on-one or two-person private adventure. Whether you’re looking for exclusive drone guidance, creative mentoring, or just the solitude to create without distraction — this option gives you space and focus with a highly experienced and passionate guide.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you cancel and the Workshop is otherwise filled, we will refund you the full amount you have paid towards the tuition, minus a 300 euro service charge. If you cancel and the Workshop does not fill, then you will be refunded according to the following schedule, based on the full fee of the Workshop:

Greater than 60 days from the start date of the Workshop: full refund minus 300 euro fee.
45 days or more: 75% refund
30 days or more: 50% refund
Less than 30 days: no refund

Refunds will be paid by the same method that the original payment was made. Refunds will be initiated within 72 hours of the time that the request is approved.

 

*** If we do not have the required numbers to run a given workshop, we reserve the right to cancel up to 60 days in advance. We will refund the deposit, but you must have travel insurance to cover any travel expenses you may incur.
