SLOVENIA PHOTO-WORKSHOP

Slovenia Autumn Tour

Photography Workshop

Join award winning photographer Marek Biegalski and Canon UK’s senior product specialist Frankie Jim for an exclusive photography workshop based in Lake Bled, Slovenia.

Enjoy the very best technical advice, complimentary camera and lens loans, and hands on guidance and support.

We will endeavour to visit the very best locations capturing the rich tonal colours of autumn.

This workshop is all about spectacular landscapes, following nature’s vibrant transformation

through Slovenia’s unspoilt Alps, valleys, lakes, and rivers.

We’ll explore Lake Bled and its iconic island church from sunrise at the shore to sunset from a

panoramic vantage point. We’ll photograph the more tranquil but equally stunning Lake

Bohinj, nestled in the heart of the Julian Alps. We will use long exposure techniques while shooting

fast-flowing rivers and waterfalls in the Soča Valley, and visit Slovenia’s most picturesque

hilltop churches and alpine villages.

This 6-day workshop is designed for photographers of all levels. You’ll benefit from a curated mix

of awe-inspiring locations and hands-on guidance all while having the opportunity to

test the latest Canon cameras and lenses in a small, focused group.

Fitness Level: Easy to Moderate

This photography trip is suitable for participants with a basic level of fitness. Most locations are

easily accessible, though some visits may involve light walking or short hikes over gentle terrain.

Expect occasional paths, uneven ground, or mild inclines, but nothing strenuous. If you’re

comfortable walking for 15–30 minutes with your gear, you’ll be well prepared. A reasonable

level of mobility and good walking shoes will ensure you get the most from this adventure.
