Join award-winning photographer Marek Biegalski and Canon UK’s Senior Product Specialist Frankie Jim for an exclusive landscape photography workshop in Lake Bled, Slovenia.

You’ll get hands-on guidance, expert technical support, and access to complimentary Canon camera and lens loans throughout the workshop. New for this edition: an introduction to Canon’s tilt-shift lenses  a unique tool that lets you control the plane of focus and unlock creative new ways to approach landscape photography.

 

What to Expect

We’ll focus on capturing the rich tones and atmosphere of autumn across Slovenia’s most beautiful locations.

This workshop is all about dramatic landscapes and the changing energy of nature  from alpine peaks and valleys to lakes, rivers, and quiet villages.

We’ll photograph:

  • Lake Bled and its iconic island church  from sunrise at the shore to sunset viewpoints
  • The peaceful Lake Bohinj in the heart of the Julian Alps
  • Fast-flowing rivers and waterfalls in the Soča Valley using long exposure techniques
  • Slovenia’s most photogenic hilltop churches and alpine villages

 

 

Workshop Overview

This is a 6-day workshop, designed for photographers of all levels.

You’ll experience a carefully curated mix of inspiring locations and practical learning, all within a small, focused group  with the chance to test the latest Canon gear in real shooting conditions.

 

Fitness Level: Easy to Moderate

Most locations are easy to access, with occasional light walks or short hikes.

  • Expect uneven paths and gentle inclines
  • No strenuous hiking required
  • If you’re comfortable walking up to an hour with your gear, you’ll be absolutely fine

Good walking shoes and basic mobility are all you need to enjoy the experience fully.

Canon UK Collaboration

  • Technical advice and support throughout

  • In-field assistance from two Canon professionals
